WHO WE ARE

Canaventura was created almost 20 years ago by two mountain guides, passionate about the islands and their nature, with more than 25 years living in Tenerife, absorbing all its culture and traditions. Our main motivation is to develop a sustainable and lasting ecotourism, making our clients aware of the natural and rural environment and its people. We are convinced that by working side by side with small artisans, homemade food houses and farmers, our clients will learn and enjoy the Canarian way of life and culture.

Our team is made up of an organisation and reservations department, mountain guides, tour guides and agritourism guides, who are interested in teaching and sharing their extensive knowledge of history, flora, fauna, agriculture, folklore and local traditions with our clients. Our commitment is to offer an ecotourism service that is close, innovative, of high quality and that, above all, listens to the client.

Our office is located in Costa del Silencio, in the south of Tenerife, but you will always find us in the ravines, peaks, caves, cut-throats, sailing near cliffs or among the crops of the island! At sea level, Tenerife enjoys an average annual temperature of around 22 °C and the ocean temperature is always between 18 and 25 °C, which allows us to enjoy all kinds of outdoor activities throughout the 12 months of the year. In the high mountains, in winter, we can have extreme weather conditions such as snow, ice, wind and sub-zero temperatures, which in many cases adds a bit of spice to all our adventures!
