Agritourism – Aloe & Bananas

We will visit a banana plantation where you will learn all about banana cultivation. We will tour the farm and hear about how this fruit has been grown over the years. We will also sample local products made with bananas, *gofio*, and palm honey, and have the chance to discover and taste various types of tropical fruits.

Next, we will continue our journey to the municipality of Arona, located a few kilometers from the coast and Los Cristianos. At the entrance to the town lies our farm—currently under development—featuring hundreds of aloe vera plants (*Aloe barbadensis miller*). We are gradually expanding the cultivation of this species, which has been renowned since ancient times for its many properties and uses. During the visit, you will see how an aloe vera leaf is cut and taste the pulp, as well as learn about the various products derived from its natural gel.

End of the excursion and return to the hotel.
